Principal's Message

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to the busiest term of the year.

Term 4 has started with lots of events already such as camps for Secondary and Grade 5&6 students, Intercampus ART Exhibition, You Debate Competition, and Athletics Carnival.

Intercampus ART Exhibition

Our annual secondary art exhibition was held at the Hume Global Learning Centre this year. Student artworks from all campuses were displayed at the venue for ten days. This was a great opportunity for our students to showcase their talents. I would like to congratulate our Art Department for this wonderful exhibition and all students who contributed to this event with their artwork.

You Debate Competition

You Debate is a debating competition which is organised by AUF (Australian Universal Foundation) and open to all member schools. Our campus participated in this competition with two teams this year and one of them were qualified to take part in the quarter finals. Congratulations to both teams and many thanks to our debating teacher Mr Clayton for preparing our students and for Mr Morrison for taking them on the day.

Athletics Carnival

We are proud of yet another successful event - the athletics carnival - which was held on the 27th of October, 2016. These types of events are really important for bonding and team spirit between not only the students but also the teachers. It was great to see the joy and excitement of our students, parents and staff.

I would like to thank our events and fundraising committees for the organisation and everyone for their support/contribution. I think Ms Mirela, Ms Medine and Mrs Marziah deserve a very special thanks for their hard work towards this event.

A Reminder: After School Pick Up Procedure

At Ibrahim Dellal Campus, we are committed to provide a safe and nurturing environment for your child/children.

It has come to our attention that students are not being picked up by their guardians/carers on time. Please note that it is a parents' responsibility to drop their children off after 8.30am and pick them up before 3.45pm, as we only provide teacher supervision until 3.45pm in the main car park. Hence, there is no supervision after this time. We kindly ask for your cooperation to ensure that you collect your child/children by 3.45pm sharp. Late pickups are upsetting for children and stressful for staff.

We have therefore imposed the following security measures:-

Remember this is all about our children's safety.

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

Kind Regards
Hasan Dagli
